Fuel Scarcity: 5 Ships Bring Hope

There are speculation that Nigeria’s fuel scarcity issue might soon become a thing of the past, this is as five ships laden with petroleum products and foods arrive in Lagos ports.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday, November 24, that the ships are waiting to berth.
NPA stressed that asides petrol, diesel, the vessels also contain crude palm oil and rice.
In a document made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the ports authorities noted that 36 other ships would sail into the ports with various consignments from Tuesday, November 24 to
Friday, December 18.

The consignments are petrol, diesel, crude palm oil, rice, bulk gypsum, general cargo, containers, bulk salt, bulk sugar, steel products and buck wheat.
According to NAN, 14 other ships are at the ports, discharging buck wheat, fertilizer, general cargo, soda ash, containers, gypsum, sugar, petrol and gas.
Meanwhile, there are rumours that the Nigerian Senate may summon President Muhammadu Buhari.
Following a motion raised by Senator Eyinna Abaribe, the president might be made to appear before the parliament to give answers to questions regarding the ongoing fuel scarcity rocking the nation.
