Have you ever wondered what that magic number is? You know, the number that is not so little that you will be seen as a prude, but not so much that you will be considered a slut.

Well, a group of researchers have come up with that ideal number of sex partners after a study. The study concluded that the magic number is 10.

The results showed that 37% of men and 38% of women said that between eight and 12 was the best number, and within that group most agreed on a perfect 10.

The second most desirable number of past romps was four to eight – this number was voted by 28% of guys and 24% of girls.

The poll also suggested that men and women were wary of potential new partners who had a higher score than 10.

Any number above 20 was considered a turn off, with just 3% of women and 4% men happy with that amount of experience.

The research leader says:

“The dating game is changing so quickly.

“I think we are all becoming a lot more tolerant and sexually adventurous. If we had conducted this poll 10 years ago, men would have expected a potential partner to have slept with far fewer people.”
