Reports reaching from Ovia Local Government Area of Edo
State indicate that a ghastly truck accident occurred between tanker and

motor boy were burn to death.
Another source, who gave his name as Iyobosa, said the first crash occurred on Friday, making the officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission to divert traffic to the other lane of the Benin-Lagos road, with the intention of coming to remove the two accidental trucks on Saturday morning.
He said unfortunately, before the FRSC officials got there on Saturday morning, two other trucks have locked themselves in a tight corner of the free side, because none of them wanted to give way to the other. He said the development resulted to a complete blockage of the both sides of the express road.
Iyobosa, who is an indigene of Ovia community, added that while the road safety officials were making plan to remove the trucks with their heavy duty towing van, an incoming trailer failed break and rammed into the cars that were held up in the traffic.
He said figures as at this morning, June 29, shows that about 98 persons were involved in the accident. He said one death was recorded, adding that the driver of the trailer whose break failed died on the spot due to the fire that broke out from the crash. He said the driver died before he could be saved.
