Game Of Thrones: HBO Show Breaks Emmy Record
"Game of Thrones" is currently the most-awarded drama in Emmy history.
HBO series "Game of Thrones," has won more Emmy awards than any other drama in TV history.
The show won nine awards at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmys which held on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
The show which tied with "The West Wing" and "Hill Street Blues" in 2015 with 26 Emmys, now has 35.

The episode from season 6, “Battle of the Bastards,” won four awards for visual effects, editing, sound mixing, and makeup. It also won an Emmy for her costume designs on “The Winds of Winter.”
In the episode titled "Battle of the Bastards," Jon Snow finally faced off with Ramsay Bolton in battle. After Bolton was beaten, pounded and grounded by Snow, he was left for Sansa to get her revenge.
Sansa ended his life by releasing his own starved hounds on him. His dogs ate him up, starting with his face.

"Game of Thrones" is poised to break another Emmy record on Sunday, September 18, 2016, during the primetime Emmys broadcast.
The show currently has 23 nominations, including Outstanding Drama, Directing, and Writing. Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Clarke are also up for supporting acting awards.
