Aminu, son of ex-Vice President’s son Atiku Abubakar, got married to his Ghanaian bride over the weekend.

The elaborate wedding ceremony between Aminu Abubakarand Nana Akyaa held on Saturday, April 16, in Kumasi, Ghana.

Abubakar happily announced via his Twitter page that he is now an in-law in Ghana after his son had completed the marriage rites of his bride.

The wedding ceremony was well attended by dignitaries from both Ghana and Nigeria including wife of the former VP, Titi Abubakar, Governor of Adamawa State Bindo Umaru Jibrilla. Ghanaian monarch, Asantehene, HRM Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, also attended the ceremony. 

The Asante monarch’s palace served as venue for the traditional wedding of the Abubakars.

In November 2015, it was a triple celebration in the house of the former VP as three of his pretty daughters got married the same day, barely a year after his son; Abba Abubakar tied the knot with his American wife, Mariana in Dubai and Adamawa respectively.

A big congratulation to Aminu and Nana.
