Biafra's Protest In Aba Turns Violent

A protest by pro-Biafra activists, has gone violent in the city of Aba, Obingwa local government area of Abia state.

There are no clear details as to why the alleged riot broke out.

According to Sahara Reporters, a riot has broken out following a protest by some Biafra Zionist.
The reason behind the escalation of what should have been a peace march, is yet to be ascertained.
However, photos show
some burning and chaotic movements within the city.

There have been several warnings that the protests in the southeast might unsettle the nation.

The details of the riot are still sketchy.

No casualties have been reported yet.

There are speculation that properties have been destroyed in the alleged riot.

 

It is still unverified if lives have been lost and if people have been injured.

Its not clear if the agitators engaged security operatives in Aba.

Meanwhile, the arrest and continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu, a leader of the Biafra secessionist, has been stated as the reason for the intensifying agitations within the Southeastern region of Nigeria.
Earlier on Saturday, November 14, the parents of the Biafra chief, told newsmen that they feared Kanu is no longer alive or might be in very bad shape.
Their suspicions they say are founded on the premise that the Radio Biafra boss has for too long been held captive by the Department of State Services (DSS).
In the light fears raised by Kanu’s family, supporters of the movement for the actualization of Biafra, have issued threats that if any should befall their leader, then Nigeria will be forced to dance to the rhythm of war.
