Troops Seize Jeep Loaded With Bombs After Clash With BH

The Nigerian military has recovered a jeep full of Improvised Explosives Devices after suicide bombing attacks on Zabamari Muna near Maiduguri, according to Sahara Reporters.

It was gathered that the jeep full of IED was among the weapons recovered by troops conducting Cordon and Search Operations after suicide bombing attacks in the northeastern region.
Reports indicate that the jeep along with 2 Hilux vehicles being used by terrorists were destroyed in the course of pursuit and encounter with a group of terrorists trying to escape after
simultaneous attacks on targets in the communities Thursday and Friday.

In a statement issued by the director of Defense Information, Chris Olukolade, military explosives ordinance experts and police bomb disposal units have continued vigorous search for any bombs that may have been hidden or left unexploded in the area.
It was gathered that a total of 6 suicide bombers had detonated themselves around the garage killing scores of people while some people were also wounded and a soldier losing his life.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, has welcomed negotiations with the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists, according to his spokesperson, Femi Adesina.
