when she became entangled in the ropes, while hanging naked from a tree in a forest. Luckily, after hours of screaming for help Huse’s friend came and freeв the girl.
Pic shows: The nacked artist in the tree. An artist got stuck hanging naked in a tree for three and a half hours after a video stunt went wrong. London based Hilde Krohn Huse, went into the forest in her native Aukra in Norway to film a video featuring herself hanging from a rope in a tree. But when she finished filming, she realised that she was unable to free herself. She admitted:"The video ends when the camera shuts off, but I was there calling for help for another 30 minutes. "I felt sick when I saw the video for the first time, I experienced everything anew. But I slept on it and realised that the video is quite decent." Adventurous university student Hilde was eventually cut down by a friend who heard her screaming for help. The video was recorded during Huseís final year at the University for the Creative Arts in London has now been selected to be exhibited in the Bloomberg New Contemporary exhibition. The exhibition provides a platform for fine arts graduates in the UK to showcase their work. The film called Hanging in the Woods identifies the powerlessness of the artist between performance and reality and it proved very accurate as she accidentally trapped herself in making it. Huse said she was lucky that one of her friends came to her rescue. "For me, itís natural to be naked in front of the camera, but it was probably a bit out of the ordinary for her when she was getting me down. Luckily, someone I knew came." (ends)

The artist, who escaped unhurt, said: “The video ends when the camera shuts off, but I was there calling for help for another 30 minutes. The film called Hanging In The Woods was recorded during Huse’s final year at the University for the Creative Arts in London. It is said to identify the powerlessness of the artist when it comes to the relationship between performance and reality.
