Who says money can’t buy you everything? US Rapper, Rick Ross, has been released by a judge in Fayette County, GA, after paying the sum of $2million.
Ross paid $1 million in property. Another sum of $500, 000 was posted in cash; and another $500, 000 in corporate surety bond.
Earlier, we reported the arrest of the Rap star at his mansion in Atlanta by US marshals service fugitive taskforce and
deputies.
Born William Leonard Roberts II, the ‘Free Mason’ rapper kidnapped and assaulted the groundskeeper at his home, a mansion formerly owned by boxing heavy weight, Evander Holyfield.
Prosecutors say Ross pulled the groundskeeper to the back of the house; hit him over and over with a 9MM pistol, causing him several injuries on the jaw, neck and teeth in the process.
According to TMZ, Ross had also threatened to ‘pop a cap [in him]’ if he tried to speak out on the issue.
The groundskeeper, according to several sources, hosted a birthday party in the mansion the night before; and this had gotten Ross furious.
The $2 million dollar payment has gotten him out of jail, but Ross will be made to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
In addition, the rapper’s attorney promised the judge that he will put up the $5.8 million mansion to the authorities, in the event he threatens or bullies any of the witnesses.


Daily Mail has it that the enormous 54,000 square-foot mansion is the biggest single family apartment in Georgia State. It has about 109 rooms, 12 bedrooms and an impressive 21 bathrooms.
