Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice
President, Yemi Osinbajo and other high-level political and economic
leaders attended the West African Energy Leaders Group summit (WAELG) in
Cote D’Ivoire on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

The WAELG is going to drive the necessary reforms to provide energy services to millions of people people currently lacking electricity access in Sub-Saharan and West African countries. Among those committed to membership in the Group are the Presidents of Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana and
entrepreneurs Tony Elumelu and Aliko Dangote. Former Ghanian president John Kufuor, Ivorian president, Alassane Ouattara and many other notable Africans visited the event.
